John Moore, CEO of Acorn Energy (ACFN), has been a friend of mine for a few years.  First and foremost John is an accomplished investor and a person I look up to for his expertise.  In this interview John talks about some of his early successes in investing, even going head to head against Kevin Blank at Under Armour (UA), and how these experiences led him to Acorn Energy.  Acorn Energy has performed very well over the last 12 months as you can see below.
