Good - let me know what you think. Insiders and some board members have been ponying up on a regular basis. Selling the legacy patents would go a long way to shoring up the balance sheet. It will all come down to market acceptance/speed orders of their video products.

I wrote an article on SeekingAlpha last week on ADTN, CALX, CLFD that you might find interesting.

Took a little longer look at TXCC and got a little more interested. The CEO joined the company in Dec. 2009 so he's only been their 2.5 years. I can't blame him too much for the recent mess. In fact, he's responsible for diverisfying into their new video chip product line as they saw the decline in their historical business. Insiders haven't owned much historically but they have dumped in some significant money just recently. I'm also interested in some of the institutional investors that have been somewhat activist. I notice that they may be presenting at the Midwest IDEAS conference in Chicago on Aug. 28th. I'm planning to attend and will see what more I can learn.

Thanks for the tip!

Took a quick look at TXCC and it is an interesting situation. I stopped any further research after reviewing management's ownership and results, however. Officers own few shares and have been in place for three or four years with mostly poor results. Maybe it will be different going forward as they are dumping legacy assets and focusing on video communication electronics.

Nice piece. They posted decent earings today in a rough sector. I like the management a lot.

Different sector but look at TXCC. They are another company disposing of a legacy business and focusing on new, organic technology. Balance sheet is a mess but they just got access to funding to give themselves a real shot. Good risk/reward scenario.
