Posted November 27, 2012 By Ian Cassel in Blog, Broadcasts, Radio With | 3 Comments
Chris Lahiji, Founder of LD Micro, joins me on the program to tell us about his upcoming microcap conference. Chris puts on what I believe is the best microcap conference of the year in a couple weeks December 5-6 in LA. This year over 140 microcap companies will be presenting, so it will be a very busy couple of days. During the radio program we talk about the event, how the conference has evolved, some of the interesting companies presenting, and how he almost rented a Yak for the event. Companies mentioned: Inuvo (INUV), RoomLinX (RMLX), Joe’s Jeans (JOEZ), GSV Capital (GSVC), Auxilio (AUXO), DDD Group PLC (DDD.L), Mongolia Growth Group (MNGGF), ZAGG (ZAGG), Mitek (MITK), and Axesstel (AXST). The FINRA OTCBB Mass Exodus Continues
Posted November 25, 2012 By Ian Cassel in Blog With | No Comments

The reason for this is simple, the OTCBB is the past, and the OTC Markets is the future which you can hear for yourself during the interview. Nothing illustrates the FINRA OTCBB exodus better then the statistics below: Read More …

Posted November 21, 2012 By Ian Cassel in Blog, Book Reviews With | 1 Comment
This book is about the life of Samuel Zemurray, the Banana King. You know the phrase, “Banana Republic”, well Sam invented it. Let me first say that I’m embarrassed to say I’ve never heard of the man before reading the book, and yet his business accomplishments rank right up there with the greats. When you look back at the turn of the 19th century, these were the years of the business titans. Rockefeller with Oil, Carnegie with Steel, JP Morgan with Electricity, Ford with Automobiles, Vanderbilt with Railroads, and Sam Zemurray with Bananas. Read More …

In the opening pages of the most recent edition of The Journal of Petrotech, the Chairman and Managing Director of ONGC, India’s National Oil Company with revenues of $30 billion, extolled the virtues of technology to his industry. In particular he highlighted three companies with “savvy pioneers placing huge bets hinged on disruptive technology that have found crucial support from established industry players.”
The first company mentioned was NXT Energy Solutions who he states:
“…claim to raise the success of first – pass prospecting for trapped hydrocarbon reserves underground by up to 70% by deploying their unique ‘Stress Field Detection Surveys’. Pioneering companies such as Ecopetrol and Pacific Rubiales have already adopted it .”
Members of the MicroCapClub were already familiar with the company. NXT was one of the early write‑ups on the site and an active discussion has followed on our forum. Today we will highlight the company on the main blog. Read More …
