Chris Lahiji, Founder of LD Micro, joins me on the program to tell us about his upcoming microcap conference. Chris puts on what I believe is the best microcap conference of the year in a couple weeks December 5-6 in LA. This year over 140 microcap companies will be presenting, so it will be a very busy couple of days. During the radio program we talk about the event, how the conference has evolved, some of the interesting companies presenting, and how he almost rented a Yak for the event. Companies mentioned: Inuvo (INUV), RoomLinX (RMLX), Joe’s Jeans (JOEZ), GSV Capital (GSVC), Auxilio (AUXO), DDD Group PLC (DDD.L), Mongolia Growth Group (MNGGF), ZAGG (ZAGG), Mitek (MITK), and Axesstel (AXST). MicroCapClub Radio Program Episode 13
Posted September 3, 2012 By Ian Cassel in Blog, Broadcasts, Radio With | No Comments
MicroCapClub contributor Sean Marconi joins me on this program. Sean talks about his trip to China to visit the operations of Remedent (REMI), the silk market, the Great Wall, and the smog. We then discuss how “timing” is very important, and the need to always be aware of what’s happening in stocks you have an interest in. The SEC announced an advisory committee meeting on microcap issues facing the space and we provide our thoughts on that. Lastly, we then talk about our upcoming company visit with OptimizeRX (OPRX) in Michigan, Sean’s upcoming visit with Noble Romans (NROM), and my travels to NYC in a week for the MDB Brightlights Conference where several microcaps are presenting. Other Companies Mentioned: ZAGG Inc (ZAGG), Destiny Media Technologies (DSNY), and VolitionRX (VNRX). (Click the Play button below to Listen) Read More …

MicroCapClub Radio Program Episode 4
Posted May 25, 2012 By Ian Cassel in Blog, Radio With | No Comments
In this MicroCapClub radio program, Sean Marconi and I discuss the Facebook IPO and the social networking microcap benefactors (sort of) like SNAP Interactive (STVI) and Quepasa Corp (QPSA). We also talk about microcap management teams and the need for them to take the role of being “public” seriously. We both give examples of private “public” companies and some that were too promotional. Finally. Sean tells us about his trip to Denver for the holiday weekend and his follow on trip to the Bakken. I on the other hand will be held up in a cabin with my wife unconnected to the rest of the world. Have a great Memorial Day. See you next week! I apologize for the sound quality, we really didn’t record this in the middle of a hurricane. (Click the Play button below to Listen). Read More …

Posted May 4, 2012 By Ian Cassel in Broadcasts, Radio With | 3 Comments
Chris Lahiji, MCC Contributor and President of LD Micro, joins me in this program and we discuss several topics effecting microcaps today including the underperformance of microcaps as a whole relative to the general market. We also talk about a bad side of microcap-pennystocks as it relates to hard mailers and those associated with them. In the second half of the program Chris talks about why he likes Mad Catz Interactive (MCZ) as a technical trade off its historic levels. I talk about food safety and transparency which researchers believe to be one of the hottest emerging global trends and why Integrated Management Information (INMG) will likely benefit as it’s one of the only ways to invest in this trend. Global Market Trends and The Microcap Benefactors
Posted May 2, 2012 By Ian Cassel in Blog, Educational With | 4 Comments
As a full time microcap investor, I have a very easy (easy to comprehend, not to execute) investing strategy. I want to identify a bullish global market trend in its infancy and find the micro caps that will benefit from the trend before any other investor. In general, I want a stock with a gale force tail wind. The perfect situation is a bullish global market trend where there are only a handful of microcap companies that are benefactors. In this scenario a scarcity value occurs which acts like a second tail wind for the stock. Read More …
