Ron Paul has been an electrifying politician for years.  You either love to love him or love to hate him.  Politicians are forced to file a public “Form A” which discloses to some degree their portfolios.  Ron Paul’s portfolio is between $2.44 – 5.46 million.  Roughly 14% of his portfolio is in cash, 20% in real estate, and 64% in gold and silver related stocks.  Roughly 5% of Ron Paul’s assets are in micro cap stocks (market cap < $500m).  Whether you love him or hate him, Ron Paul puts his money where his mouth is, betting the worst is ahead of us (unless he gets elected I’m sure 😉 You can read the full story on Paul’s holdings [Here].
