  1. Another great and beneficial presentation by Ian, with so many excellent points. We can all take a body blow, but you never want to take a knock-out punch. Survival as we know is so critical.

  2. Ian, thank you once again for sharing your wisdom with all of us. A tremendous piece to reflect on, yes indeed, we all make our own story, but I believe the ups and downs bring us all closer to a common story, and perhaps even God. Blessings.

  3. Great insights and relatable too all as well.
Gets me thinking back too “The possibility of permanent loss is the risk I worry about”.
The only point I probably differ on is a business that grows in a recession. I think there’s plenty of great business that can survive very comfortably through a recession. They may not grow business, but definitely not be in any real danger. But maybe that qualifies as growing relative to peers anyway.
    Cheers Ian !

  4. Mr. Cassel,

Appreciate the insight and sharing your experiences.

What screeners or tools do you use to find the instruments to invest?

    Thank You
