MicroCapGUTS Index Update: Q4 2025

The MicroCapGUTS Index (MC-GUTS) is intended to find quality microcap stocks across the US, Canada and Europe that exhibit the evidence-based GUTS factors, and track their performance as a group over time.  The index includes 240 stocks across all three regions. You can view the top 15 stocks (ranked by a series of proprietary factors) on our community here.

MC-GUTS was up +37.6% in 2025, outperforming the iShares Microcap ETF +22.5%, S&P 500 +17.7%, and Nasdaq +20.8% respectively.

All regions ended with double digits, with Canada and Europe leading the US.  Canadian microcaps posted nearly 65%, much of which credited from the boom in commodities and miners.

Below is our updated performance of MC-GUTS, simulated since 2015.  Over this time, the strategy has 7X’d, vs the IWC benchmark which has more than 2X’d.
