Join the MicroCap Revolution!

There are a bunch of small stocks that will 10x over the next five years that are waiting to be found. Institutions can’t buy them. Only you can.

In 1600, Dutch spectacle maker Zacharias Janssen put two lenses together and formed the first compound microscope. It could magnify objects 20-30x their normal size.

A few decades later Antonie van Leeuwenhoek started experimenting with microcopes by grinding his own lenses. His microscope looked more like a magnifying glass. He could magnify an object up to 200x.

At the same time Robert Hooke was experimenting with microscopes. Unlike Leeuwenhoek, Hooke’s microcscope were true compound microscopes. They were less powerful, but offered greater ease of use and broader perspective, allowing him to capture larger structures in his drawings.

Since photography wasn’t invented yet, Hooke would spend countless hours observing magnified objects and then drawing what he saw by hand. He used a graticule (a grid) to help him get a sense for relative size of what he was observing.

When Robert Hooke published “Micrographia” in 1665 it immediately became a best seller.

The book included stunning drawings of Hooke's microscopic observations, showing intricate details of plant and insect structures, among other objects.

One of Hooke's most famous illustrations is of a flea, which he showed in almost monstrous detail. It captivated adults and children and was as much an artistic marvel as a scientific one.

Another famous observation was that of cork under the microscope. He noticed that cork was made up of many tiny, hollow compartments, which he thought looked like the cells (rooms) in a monastery. This led him to name these compartments “cells,” a term still used in biology today.

No matter a person’s age or socioeconomic status, Hooke’s magnified images of blue mold, hair, skin, snowflakes, a fly’s eye, feathers, fish scales, and a nettle sting captivated everyone. “Micrographia” encouraged the public and scientists alike to question what other mysteries might be hidden just out of sight.

This simple picture book became the catalyst for widespread curiosity, single handedly propelling the scientific revolution in physics, biology, and engineering.

All this simply by letting people clearly see a microscopic world that was always there.

This is also a goal of MicroCapClub through our community and public content (articles, presentations, interviews). We too will be the catalyst that brings a microcap world into view.

I want to thank all of you, from our readers to our members, for being a part of this movement.

When I founded MicroCapClub in 2011, the microcap ecosystem was in dire straits. The average age of a microcap investor was “one foot in the grave”. There was no energy or pulse. Fast forward to today and the ecosystem is on much better footing, but we still have a long way to go.

Here are some self-evident truths, at least to microcap investors.

  • Most of the best performing stocks of the last 10 years were
    microcaps. 87% to be exact.
  • Most of the greatest companies of all time were microcaps (even Berkshire Hathaway).
  • Most of the best performing stocks of all time were microcaps.
  • Most of the greatest investors ever started their careers right here in microcap. Name a famous value investor and they likely started by sifting through thousands of microcap stocks.
  • Most of the great investors that will emerge over the next 10 years are already here investing. Read: The Superinvestors of MicroCap

There are a bunch of small stocks that will 10x over the next five years that are waiting to be found. The opportunity in small stocks (microcaps) exists because institutions can’t buy them when they are small. Only you can. Institutional money must wait until these stocks go up and become more liquid. It is the small astute investor’s duty to find them first and collect the reward for doing so.

MicroCapClub is a community of 280+ stock pickers who share and discuss their ideas and collaborate on due diligence. We have some of the best stock pickers on the planet right here on our community. But we aren't a guru service. We don't make stock recommendations. Some microcaps discussed by members will be monster winners and others won't. We all learn and grow together through our successes and mistakes. No one to blame.

Our members have profiled 1,200+ microcaps since inception. 165 companies in 2024 alone. 33 new multi-baggers discovered in 2023 and 2024 (profiled price through YE 2024) which is more than one multi-bagger found per month. There are many more out there, waiting to be found.

Just as Robert Hooke’s “Micrographia” opened a hidden world for all to see, MicroCapClub’s mission is to uncover the extraordinary opportunities hidden in the microcap ecosystem.
